Awesome New Weight Loss Products

American Weight Loss Centers offers more than easy weight loss programs, quick weight loss plans and medical weight loss counseling—we now provide an even greater selection of weight loss products and food. In addition to the delicious nutrition bars, lollipops, shakes and pastas available at our weight loss clinics and Orange County medical weight loss center, we recently introduced caramel and chocolate Drizzles. These are brought to us by the same company that provides us with our Control Bars, so just like those, Drizzles control hunger by stabilizing blood sugar up to nine hours. These are great when you’re on the go and serve as a stellar complement to our easy weight loss programs and those that include FDA approved medical weight loss pills. These are available at both our Orange County medical weight loss centers and Pasadena weight loss clinic.

Some of our clients’ favorite weight loss products are our nutritionally designed pudding and shake mixes, available in delicious flavors like chocolate, vanilla, chocolate mint, mocha and strawberry among others. Those who work with our quick weight loss programs give rave reviews about our protein bars, which are available in a wide array of flavors, as well as the soups, Fettucini Alfredo and Macaroni and Cheese that you can buy at our weight trimming facilities.

You Are What You Eat

Weight loss clinics across the country have seen a rise in obesity among Americans—and it’s partially due to portion sizes. Restaurant servings have increased more than two times in the last two decades, and the number of “large size” packages in supermarkets has significantly increased. Even dinner plates have grown! As the amount of food that we consider “normal” gets bigger, so are we. This is one of the reasons so many people turn to medical weight loss clinics, where they can access easy weight loss programs, weight loss products and FDA approved medical weight loss pills.

It’s time to shift our perception of normal portions and focus more on eating just enough to fuel our bodies. Visit one of our Orange County medical weight loss centers or Pasadena weight loss clinic to see examples of normal portion sizes. Once you’ve corrected your perception of normal servings, start serving yourself smaller portions on smaller plates. Always eat slowly to give your stomach enough time to signal your brain that it’s full. Even when you use FDA approved medical weight loss pills as part of a quick weight loss plan or one of our easy weight loss programs, it can still be difficult to stop eating when you think you’re still hungry. Slow your role!

When you visit one of our weight loss clinics, make sure to talk to your physician about portion control. You may find that some of our weight loss products and healthy snacks are a great way to re-train yourself on serving sizes and stay on track with quick weight loss plans.

How To Rev Your Metabolism

Unfortunately, our metabolism slows as we age—in fact, once we reach 30, it decreases about one percent each year. Nothing is more frustrating than when you’re diligently watching what you eat and following one of our easy weight loss programs and it feels like nothing is happening.  The good news is that there are some things you can do to combat metabolic slowdown. To get some personalized suggestions, visit one of our medical weight loss clinics or quick weight loss centers.
Build Muscle
While diet and activity are major factors, research shows that building muscle is crucial to raising your metabolic rate. Since muscle burns fat, you want to engage as many muscle fibers as possible. Do lots of strength training to increase your lean muscle mass, which will burn more calories, even when you’re resting. If you aren’t already working out regularly, check with your family doctor or a physician at one of your local weight loss clinics for recommendations on starting an exercise program.
Weight training increases lean muscle mass, which in turn raises the number of calories you burn. In addition, resistance training improves blood circulation and boosts energy. It’s easy to understand how training enhances the effects of easy weight loss programs and weight loss products.
Switch It Up
Interval training is a great way to boost your metabolism. By incorporating bursts of high intensity cardio into your workout, you will improve your exercise results and your body will burn calories for hours afterwards. Rather than working out at the same pace as usual, throw some sprints into your run, select the interval option on the elliptical or treadmill, or run in the sand, switching the pace every few minutes. Intervals will greatly augment the results of quick weight loss programs. If you are using
FDA approved medical weight loss pills as part of your weight loss plan, make sure to speak to the physician at one of our medical weight loss centers to determine the safest workout plan for you.
Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!
Research findings indicate that those who drink more water have higher metabolic rates. Stay hydrated, especially if you are using
FDA approved medical weight loss pills as part of a medical weight loss program.
Eat, Eat, Eat!
Many people stay fit and healthy by eating several small meals per day, rather than three large ones.  Our bodies need to be fed consistently in order to stay fueled and to stabilize blood sugar levels. Make sure to never skip breakfast—in fact, research shows that you should eat within an hour (at the most) after waking up.
Protein has a greater metabolic boost than fat or carbohydrates—it burns more calories you burn as it travels through the digestive tract and contains Leucine, an amino acid that prevents muscle loss when you're dieting or working with quick weight loss programs. Try almonds, peanuts, cashews or hard-boiled eggs for a healthy, sustaining snack.

Healthy Eating Habits Go A Long Way

Working with easy weight loss programs isn’t just about medical diet pills and weight loss products, it’s about developing a brand new, more comfortable relationship with food. At American Weight Loss Centers, we understand that can be a difficult task. It’s easy to get preoccupied with food, even when you’re using FDA approved medical weight loss pills or other weight loss products. You may think about how much you’re eating, how little, calorie content and fat grams until you find yourself thinking about food all the time.
If you want to be thin, then it’s time to start acting thin. Here are some habits to implement into your lifestyle and to help the success of quick weight loss programs:
Eat consistently.
It’s important to have a well-balanced and diverse meal plan and to keep it fairly predictable. When you’re indulging in too many tastes and textures, you’re actually encouraged to eat more—hence, the issue so many of us experience at buffets.  Establish a healthy pattern for yourself, for example, eggs and fruit in the morning, salad and veggies or protein at lunch, healthy snacks in the afternoon and a well-balanced meal at dinner. It’s not about eating the same fruits, vegetables or protein every day—it’s more about sticking to a consistent pattern. At your next visit to one of our medical weight loss clinics or Orange County medical weight loss centers, ask the staff for some good ideas for balanced meal plans.
Don’t be afraid of a little hunger
A little hunger is usually not an emergency or something that needs to be addressed immediately, in most cases. Eliminate the fear and let yourself get a little bit hungry—remember it’s a normal sign that your body needs fuel. It doesn’t take that much to feel satiated, so use a healthy, high-energy snack that’s part of one of our easy weight loss programs to fill up when it’s not meal time and you’re feeling a little bit hungry.
One of the most important components of a successful quick weight loss plan is to stop eating when you’re satisfied, as opposed to letting yourself get stuffed. Re-train yourself to eat slowly so that your stomach has time to signal your brain that it’s satisfied and push the plate away when you are. You can also purchase weight loss products from one of our weight loss clinics to help feel satiated when hunger strikes at odd times. Our new Chocolate and Caramel Drizzles are getting rave reviews!
Don’t eat for comfort.
When you’re feeling sad or depressed, instead of reaching for that candy bar, go for a walk or run, or even hit up the gym. Another amazing endorphin booster is a dance or kickboxing class. If you don’t feel like being active, try something else that has nothing to do with eating—call a friend to vent, read a book or write in a journal.
Get your Zsss.
Aim for eight hours a night. When you’re tired, you tend to snack more, and with less sleep, you have more hours in your day to eat! What’s worse is that lack of sleep can cause your body to release more ghrelin, an appetite-boosting hormone, resulting in you being hungrier!
